Last week I had fade up with boring office schedule and corporate conspiracy .I just wanted to go away and my friend Anisha suggest me for Masinagudi. She also told its better to went there in Bike in place of car to get new experience.I also miss bike ride from long time but don’t understand how to arrange bike for weekend .Anisha had information for skyout, who provide bike rent service in Bangalore.I hired bike for three days only for Rs.600 from skyout.
Masinagudi is a palatte of colors. The ultimate abode for tourists who want to take a break from the Bangalore corporate jungle, Masinagudi is just where you need to hop in, for that blissful experience. A small town located near the Bandipur forests, witness deers, wild boars, elephants, and even tigers (if you are lucky enough!) en route Masinagudi. This town is located in Tamil Nadu, towards the borders actually. A famous tiger reserve in India, the ‘Nilgiris’ is seen with her eternal charm here. The vast blue skies which are ornamented at night, the withered browns, lively greens everywhere and the rich colors of flora and fauna, all are captured at their best in Masinagudi.
A stay inside the forest is a must recommend for those who visit Masinagudi. Finding one wouldn’t be a difficult task. There are resorts and hotels located inside the town, and with inquiry you can find guest houses or home-stays inside the forest. And literally wild forests they are! The occasional streams and ponds that you would trip on are filled with crystal clear waters, cold and quelling, serene and easy. With a group of friends who were clicking the enchantment of all that Masinagudi could offer, I couldn’t resist walking through the wild, and a lovely experience that was! We had a guide, a local, who took us towards the borders of the forests early morning (as going deep inside was risky with tigers and leopards loitering for their morning walk). Those wild untamed elephants that we saw on our way, boars taking a glimpse of their unwelcomed guests, the deer duo that ran away due to our sight, chirpy birds who were checking us out, and all those random beautiful wild creatures that surrounded us, added to Masinagudi charm. Our forest trekking in a Bike led us deeper into the thickness of greens allowing us to witness more of this beautiful place. Make sure you cook and indulge in some ‘Barbeque’ when the sun goes down! If you are looking for a two day break off the wilderness from that bustling Bangalore city life, Masinagudi is a place you would love to drop in.
Peace and some more of serenity is all that Masinagudi has to offer.
